Mrs. Santa M. Elliott, wife of Charles N. Elliott, died unexpectedly yesterday morning in her home on the Terrace Beach Road, north of the city. Mrs. Elliott was born in Darlington, but had lived in Indianapolis most of her life. She was a member of the First Friends Church. Mr. Elliott is associated with the Knox Consolidated Coal Corporation. Survivors are the husband; three sisters, Mrs. Della Harwood of Orange, Cal. Miss Dorothy Shipp of Los Angeles, Cal and Mrs. JF Donovan of Orange; two brothers, Joseph Shipp of Los Angeles and Samuel W. Shipp of Chicago; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 o’clock Thursday afternoon in the Flanner & Buchanan funeral home under charge of the Rev. Errol T. Elliott, pastor of the First Friends Church. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery. - kbz
